Global Warming

Zachary Gee
Global Warming

Think... of global warming
Think of a world that is always warm
Where heat is held captive
Like a prisoner

Think... of the fresh clean air that is no longer present
But is replaced by the smell of burnt gasoline

Think... of how strange it would be,
if we had an extra Summer season
replacing the cold Winters

Think... of this world
With no more green,
but instead the color of dry, pale yellow

Think... of half of the world
submerged in water
With the several thousands of organisms without a home

Think... of that giant blue sink for carbon dioxide
Overfilled with it
Unable to take it in anymore

Think... of those beaches
That you go to to relax
Turned into a boiling pot of hot water

Think... of those full dinner tables of food
Covering almost every inch of the table
With bowls and plates
Now only with several plates

Think... of the dry crop fields
Completely useless
Unable to grow

This is what global warming really is...
