My First Funeral

My First Funeral

She was lying in a casket

She was dressed lovely like a priest

Her dress color was blue like the sky and white like the clouds

Her shirt also had golden stripes

She looks like she was sleeping

Even though she wasn´t

She was not breathing

This was my first funeral

I know how it feels to lose someone special

She helped my parents to raise me

My aunt was crying like water splashing

My dad was really sad

Everybody was sad

I was very sad and lonely

I wanted cry

My heart was pounding fast

My brother was next to me

He did not know what was going on

It was cloudy and cold outside

The sun started to come out

The sun shined at my Grandmother

I felt like she was rising because of the sun
Death is horrible and bad

l´m sorry she had to leave

Her age eventually gave up on her

But now my grandmother is in a better place

  1. I like how you were really descriptive with the overall mood of everyone. It shows how it was a quiet, but sobbing moment.
