Shattered Lives

They crouch in the shadows,

looking very dejected,

trying to avoid notice,

not being very successful,

people pass by and mock them, they insult them,

they treat them like dirt,

like refuse to be scraped off the bottom of the shoe of society

humanity rejected,

nothing to live for.

Rejected their rightful chance,

at a happy life,

at freedom to do as they choose,

at the ability to do as they like,

the power to fulfill their dreams,

lives become over before they get a chance to start.

pain,

misery,

suffering

sadness,

because they never had a chance,

never had opportunities others had.
