Why do People fall in Love

people expect to fall in love
that is because it is what the media tells us to do
but why do we listen to them?
people like to fall in love
falling in love is a whirlwind of emotions
love can be amazing, hurtful, surprising, dramatic.
people fall in love so quickly
they fall in love so fast that they don’t even know how much it’s going to hurt
people don’t expect love to hurt
they don’t look before they fall
but everything that falls
gets broken
it gets damaged
it gets hurt
the people that pick you up from
being broken
being damage
being hurt
are the ones you should fall in love with
not some boy on the football team.
I really like this poem, it shows both sides of love, the good side "the whirlpool of emotions" and the bad side "they don't look before they fall". Good job.
