Koinophobia

Koinophobia

Why are we so easily influenced?

Like the birds perched on the telephone wires
When one of us leaves, we all leave
When one of us settle, we all settle
When one of us is afraid, we all are afraid
We’re in unison because there are no individuals,
Because we are the individual

But flying with the crowd
Never means you will fly higher
It never means
That you will soar faster
It never means that
You will reach farther

We aren't the same
You have different wings and different stories
We see different sights and hear different voices

What if we aren't afraid?
What if we decide to
Fly higher than the peaks of Everest?
What if we decide to
Soar faster than the speed of sound?
What if we decide to
Reach farther than anyone thought we could ever go?

What if you wanted to be the last one on the telephone wire,

What would you do?
