The first man arrives, the title “Sith” in place
To protect himself from himself
The things he thinks, the doubt he feels
The other man arrives, the title “Jedi” in place
To protect himself from himself
The things he thinks, the doubt he feels
Some people believe themselves fully evil
Some people believe themselves completely good
Then they change and learn
There was more to themselves
Than they ever realized
So many people are told to have one opinion
Be one person, do one thing
What if we are all more, so much more than one-sided
What if we are all
Multifaceted
Not always evil
Not always good
Sometimes both
Not always right
Not always wrong
Sometimes both
Not always Sith
Not always Jedi
Sometimes both
Not always what others see us to be
Sometimes more than anyone could ever understandChaos Hope Greed Wisdom Hate Altruism Darkness Light Revan Your fate is yours |
I think that that is a very fitting picture.
ReplyDeleteI liked the examples that you chose to go with the poem. Also, I think the picture fits well with the poem.
ReplyDeleteI like how this poem flows, very organized. I also like that you used media that is pretty familiar to everyone. The message gets more clear as to what the message is as the poem goes on.
ReplyDeleteI really liked your performance of this poem, the repetition, and the Star Wars connection. Also, that we as people have different faces/sides to ourselves.
