Act 1 Scene 1: Fierce, Foolish Fighting (Prompt B)

Romeo-Why weren't you there when the Montagues were fighting with the Capulets?
Prince-Have there been any previous consequences for the trouble caused by the Montagues and Capulets?
Roxane-Why don't you love Romeo/make your love apparent to him (if you love him)?
Montague-Why are you so quick to draw your sword at Capulet?
Benvolio-If you had to kill one person/one person had to die, who would you kill/let die?

  1. To answer your question about why Roxane didn't make her love apparent to him, I think the reason that she didn't was because she truly did not love Romeo. At the time I'm sure love was such a serious thing and if you were in love with them it would mean you had to get married. Maybe Roxane wasn't ready for that therefore she was straight up with him.
