Prompt B:
Tybalt: Why do you care so much that Romeo is there? Do you want to make a scene?
Lord Capulet: I know you want to keep things quiet, but why not casually escort Romeo away?
Montagues: Are you trying to get in trouble? Do you know what would happen should you be caught, especially by Tybalt?
Romeo: Is it your habit to decide you have to kiss someone within hours of meeting them?
Juliet: Did you find Paris interesting or were you not paying attention?
I agree with you about Romeo because he seems like a puppy that is desperately looking for "love".
ReplyDeleteI guess Lord Capulet did not want to make a scene if he were to escort Romeo out of the room. People would probably take notice of the two and have a conversation with them. If the people found that Romeo was of the Montague house, a fight would be declared between both houses.
ReplyDeleteTybalt - He has an intense hate for Montagues. He was willing to make a scene in the public, risking his life and his family's honor, just to provoke a fight.
ReplyDeleteMontagues - Group thinking. Mercutio easily pressures his peers into joining him on various ventures, and he has a carefree nature concerning his own wellbeing. Thus it is not a stretch to think that he would march into the Capulet's party, accompanied by other Montagues.
If Lord Capulet escorted him out quietly or just asked him to leave, there might not be a huge scene. The houses are already fighting, so a small increase in friction will not start something huge that moment.
ReplyDeleteI think that Juliet was but then she caught Romeo's gaze and fell for Romeo as well as Romeo had forgotten about Rosaline and fell for Juliet.
