The wall represents what Romeo is faced with when he is in love with Rosaline. The problem is always there and does not go away until solved, just like how the wall stands in the path and does not let anyone pass until it is destroyed or bypassed.
How does Romeo solve, or break this wall of loving Rosaline? I think that it is a very good metaphor, and I like the way that life is filled with multiple walls that we each after break through; breaking the barrier.
The picture you used, in my opinion is a pretty good representation on how Romeo feels when he can't get over Rosaline. I think that when he saw Juliet and fell in love with her, it opened up another way to get through the wall and let him forget about Rosaline.
I thought that the picture you used is a good representation about Romeo's love for Rosaline. It shows how much Romeo has to prove himself to get what he wants.
I like the fact that you used a wall in your picture to represent how he felt about Rosaline. The wall that he's facing looks like there's no way to get over it and it seems impossible until he met Juliet.

ReplyDeleteI like how you used a wall to represent Romeo's current situation but I think you could relate it to what happens in that scene.
