ACT. 1 SCENE 2. CHANGES

1. Why does Lady Capulet want Juliet to marry at such a young age with a much older man? She's a minor.
2. Why does the serving man ask Romeo if he can read?
3. Why does Lady Capulet say Juliet is "a stranger in the world" but lets her marry Paris?
4. Is Romeo only talking to the serving man to get closer to Juliet?
5. Why does Paris say "younger than she are happy mothers made?" What does that mean? Is he trying to say that the younger you are as a mother, the happier you'll be?

  2. I think that Lady Capulet only says that she wants Juliet to marry Paris because she wants the wealth.
