In this scene you can see the bond with Romeo and Benvolio. Benvolio sees Romeo mopping because he is not loved back by Rosaline. I saw that he told Romeo what was the reason for his sadness and you can tell right away that although they are friend's/cousins, it makes it seem like they are brother's. Benvolio even tries to cheer Romeo up by saying, "Be ruled by me..forget to think of her". Benvolio tries to lighten the mood by telling Romeo to focus on him and not her because he cares a lot for Romeo and wants what is best for him. It also gives you the feel in their relationship and how Benvolio is always watching out for him.
