I chose this image of a rose with thorns to represent the relationship between Romeo and Juliet. The rose symbolizes how simply beautiful and pure the love between the two characters is. The thorns on the rose stem represent the hardships and obstacles Romeo and Juliet suffer from because of their forbidden love. This shows that not every beautiful thing that seems perfect, actually is.
I think that the thorns could also represent the problems caused by Romeo and Juliet's love, such as them killing themselves.
