Act 2 Scene 1


Option C:

The quote that I liked the most from this section is this,"What's in a name? that which we call a rose; By any other name would smell as sweet." It shows how Juliet is thinking, and that a name is just a name, and if the person is just a nice person you should just give them a shot to get to know them. Basically Juliet is saying that if Romeo, was named as something else he would still be a sweet thing, and a name shouldn't make you judge someone. Don't judge a book by it's cover.

  1. I agree with Juliet's thinking, I think it's unfair that she can't get to know someone just because of his family name.

  2. I also liked this quote. It encapsulates her thoughts and actions because she doesn't care about any bonds that seperate her from her love.
