Prompt A
I feel as if Romeo is acting the way I act when I go to the dog park and after following a dog for five minutes it still won't let me pet it, even when later it comes up to me. I stretch my hand out to touch it, but it runs away, and I am devastated. Romeo is so sad that the girl he loved didn't love him back although he barely knew her, he locks himself away and cries. When the dogs don't love me, I do the same thing but on the inside. Later though, he will find another love, Juliet, and that is similar to how sometimes there is a really great, soft dog in the park that loves me and jumps up on me so I can pet it a lot.
Do you think that it matters to take your time to get to know that person that you love, or go up to them and (pet the dog) in this case?
ReplyDeleteI like the comparison you gave
ReplyDeleteI like this comparison, as it is silly, yet somehow incredibly accurate. Do you think that love really reaches the same level of want and sadness as a missed chance at petting a dog, though?
