Act III, Scene 4: A Wilting Rose for Star-Crossed Lovers

This is the part of the play when Romeo and Juliet's love is put to the test.
Neither of the two wish to leave one another, but in order for them to both stay alive, they have to accept the Prince's decision, and Romeo has to leave Verona.
Even though they still love one another, their love is falling apart due to the banishment and their families' feud.

  1. I feel like the rose is a big metaphor throughout the whole play and is relevant.

  2. Is their love really falling apart? If anything, in my opinion, it is driving the pair to be even more in love with one another.
