Prompt B:
1) Tybalt, what has Romeo done that makes you hate him so much? Or do you only hate him because he is a Montague?
2) Romeo, made you love Juliet so much that you completely forgot about Rosaline?
3) Juliet, before you met Romeo did you also hate the Montagues like many of the other Capulets?
4) Why does the Romeo answer the Nurse's question about who he is? Isn't it quite possible that the nurse will snitch on him?
5) Capulet, do you really hate the Montagues? It seems like you don't care that much because you refused to kick out Romeo.
I also wonder if Juliet had the same hatred for the Montagues before she met Romeo.
ReplyDelete1. He only hates him because he is a Montague. After all, he doesn't like Benvolio or Mercutio either.
ReplyDelete4. Maybe Romeo is so desperate for Juliet that he is willing to risk his life to find more about her.
5. Maybe Capulet just let Romeo be because he seems like a genuine person and he hasn't heard anything terrible about him.
ReplyDelete4. Because he is a desperate, hormonal teenage boy who lusts for a girlfriend and is willing to risk his neck for some love.
ReplyDeleteI feel like Tybalt doesn't like Romeo only because he is a Montague.
ReplyDeleteJuliet probably hated the Montagues before because in the balcony scene, she asks why is his name romeo.
Oh, I need a second question:
ReplyDelete2. He fell in love with Juliet because she looked more attractive than Rosaline.
5. Capulet was aware of Romeo's presence, and he does hold grudge against Montagues, but at the time, the wellness of the party attenders was more important than the petty issue of a Montague being present. Capulet thought Tybalt was being immature or "SAUCY" because he was quarreling over this small matter, even though Romeo was not causing trouble in the party, and was simply adding more joy to the event.
ReplyDelete2. It was probably just personal preference, or Romeo knew that he had no chance with Rosaline so he just settled for Juliet.
