In the video "Supa hot fire VS b-bone (first battle ORIGINAL)" the two men Supa hot fire and b-bone are having a battle, and they are seeing who is better than another. Similarly, in Act I, Scene I, the Capulets and Montagues are bickering and fighting because of the tension held between them. In the battle between the two men, they do not necessarily have any tension, but they are still fighting a petty battle because Supa hot fire is far superior over b-bone. B-bone constantly gets dissed by Supa hot fire, just like how many of the men fighting in the dispute between the two families are suffering grave injuries. Although in the play it is rather even in regards to the vantages that the two groups hold, but in the rap battle, Supa hot fire definitely has the edge over b-bone. Nonetheless, in both situations, the two parties are fighting over a paltry matter, which is simply resulting in more casualties and injuries. In the play, many men are being badly injured or even killed, and in the rap battle, b-bone faced countless insults and in the end, suffered from third degree burn.
Prompt B
Romeo - Is Rosaline really your one true pair, or are there other fish in the sea?
Sampson - In what way are the Capulets better than the Montagues?
Tybalt - Why do you hate Benvolio?
Prince - How are you going to control these fights in the future?
Prompt D
I feel like this picture accurately depicts what is going on in the scene because it shows two roosters fighting each other, and it seems as if it is a stalemate. This is similar to the fight between the Capulets and Montagues because it seems almost irrational that they are fighting, as it looks like they are fighting over absolutely nothing, and theres seems to be no end. It represents the scene well because it depicts the two groups as roosters, rather insignificant creatures, fighting tooth and nail over a trivial issue.
Tybalt - Does not like any Montagues in general.
ReplyDeletePrince - He can control the fights using death threats.
(You wrote a LOT).
Your image depicting the roosters fighting is a great way of symbolizing the Capulets and Montagues relationship. It makes me wonder why the Capulets and Montagues started fighting against each other in the first place.
